MOXO is a computer-based continuous performance test (CPT) that measures attention within a real task. Target stimuli appear on screen and the person is expected to respond at the right moment — while visual and auditory distractors, much like everyday life, compete for their focus.
Four performance indices — attention, timing, impulsivity and hyperactivity — are scored separately, against age-based norms. The administration takes about 15 minutes and uses different versions for children, adolescents and adults. MOXO's purpose is not to hand out a label; it lays out the attention profile in objective, numeric form. Results never amount to a diagnosis on their own; a specialist interprets them together with the clinical interview and history — in plain English.

Does MOXO diagnose on its own?
No. MOXO is a measurement instrument, not a diagnosis. An ADHD assessment is carried out through the whole picture: clinical interview, developmental history, observations and, where needed, further testing. MOXO adds an objective layer of datato that whole. Diagnosis and medication are the physician's domain; where appropriate, we refer to a psychiatrist.
Attention difficulty does not always mean ADHD; anxiety, sleep, learning differences or life stress can produce a similar picture. Objective measurement helps the specialist make that distinction. At Mete Psikoloji, MOXO is never left as a bare numeric output — an experienced clinical psychologist interprets it.
