About Us
A psychology practice in Muratpaşa, Antalya, built on scientific foundations and working to international standards — in English and Turkish.
Every Mind Deserves Sunshine
Mete Psychology is an independent psychology practice in the heart of Antalya, founded by two clinical psychologists. Guided by the conviction that there is no single method for everyone, we match each client with the approach that genuinely fits their needs.
Our work is evidence-based and centred on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). We see adults, children and adolescents, and couples — in person in Antalya and online, in English, Turkish or bilingually.

British Psychological Society (BPS) Membership
Our founder, Berk Mete, is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). Membership No. 763717
Founded in 1901, the BPS is one of the most respected psychology bodies in the world. His membership is a formal marker that his professional development is maintained to international standards, with a clear commitment to ethical practice and scientific rigour.
Berk Mete completed his academic training at Birkbeck, University of London, finishing his MSc in Health and Clinical Psychology with the top dissertation mark of his cohort. After graduating he took part in talks and conference sessions within the University of London community.

Our Core Values
A Scientific Approach
We work with evidence-based therapy methods and build a route map around each person's actual needs. We follow current academic research and apply the techniques it supports.
A Non-Judgemental Space
A therapeutic space where you can be exactly who you are, built on unconditional acceptance and empathy. Here every feeling matters and every story deserves to be heard.
Confidentiality First
Every conversation is protected in full confidence, within professional codes of ethics and the applicable legal framework. Your trust is our priority.
A Whole-Person View
We aim to work not only with symptoms, but within a frame that takes in relationship patterns, ways of regulating emotion, and the wider story of a person's life.
Our Practice Space
At our Şirinyalı office we have designed a warm, privacy-focused therapeutic space. This is the setting that welcomes you when you come for in-person sessions.

Meet Mono
The smallest — and most loved — member of the office. Mono is a little Maltipoo, ready to greet you every morning.
If you would like to bring your own small-breed pet to a session, just let us know in advance. For clients with animal allergies or fears, we make sure no animals are present in the room during sessions.
The Services We Offer
Every person's needs are different. Let's decide together which therapy approach fits you best.

Frequently Asked Questions
What people most often ask about Mete Psychology and how we work.
Where is Mete Psychology located?▼
Our practice is at Şirinyalı Mahallesi, İsmet Gökçen Sokak No:17, Floor 3, Flat 3, Muratpaşa, Antalya. We see clients in person in Antalya, and online across Turkey and internationally.
What sets Mete Psychology apart from other practices?▼
Founding psychologist Berk Mete is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS, #763717) and practises within the BPS Code of Ethics and Conduct. Several evidence-based approaches — CBT, Schema Therapy, ACT, EFT-informed work and the Gottman Method — are used side by side, the therapy plan for each client is shaped by a clinical board decision, and the whole process runs on Turkey's most advanced digital infrastructure in psychology.
Which therapy approaches do you work with?▼
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a psychodynamic perspective, and the Gottman Method in couples work. The approach is chosen around the client's needs.
Which age groups do you see?▼
We work with children and adolescents from age four, adults and older adults — in individual, couples and family formats. Child and adolescent sessions use age-adapted CBT and play-based approaches.
Do you offer an introductory session?▼
No. Mete Psychology does not run introductory or trial sessions. All sessions are chargeable; standard fee information is shared during the intake conversation and through our contact channels.
Do you offer both online and in-person therapy?▼
Yes. We see clients face to face at our Şirinyalı practice in Antalya, and online across Turkey and abroad through an end-to-end encrypted video platform. Research shows both formats deliver comparable outcomes.
Can one client have more than one type of therapy at the same time?▼
Yes. A client can run individual, couples and child-adolescent processes in parallel, each with a different psychologist. Every process is led by its own specialist and coordinated within the clinical board.
How is confidentiality protected?▼
All sessions are protected within professional codes of ethics, Turkish data-protection law (KVKK) and professional confidentiality principles. Recording or sharing information with third parties is only possible under legal obligation or with the client's explicit consent.

We look forward to meeting you
Let's take the first step together.
